Overview

The Zimbabwe Agricultural Development Trust (ZADT) is a nonprofit oriented organization which was registered on the 5th of October 2010 in Zimbabwe. It was established by SNV Netherlands Development Organization and Humanistic Institute for Development Cooperation (Hivos). The primary purpose of the Trust is to mobilize and provide funding which will contribute to the recovery and improvement of the smallholder farming sector.

The ZADT established and administers an agricultural revolving facility (the ZADT Fund) whose purpose is to contribute to the recovery and improvement of the agricultural sector in Zimbabwe by mobilizing and providing funding to smallholder farmers and strategic agricultural value chains actors that ultimately benefit smallholder farmers engaged in commercially viable and sustainable agricultural activities.
