The Zimbabwe Agricultural Development Trust (ZADT) is a nonprofit oriented organization which was registered on the 5th of October 2010 in Zimbabwe. It was established by SNV Netherlands Development Organization and Humanistic Institute for Development Cooperation (Hivos). The primary purpose of the Trust is to mobilize and provide funding which will contribute to the recovery and improvement of the smallholder farming sector. The main aim is to improve productivity of smallholder farming households in Zimbabwe so that they attain higher incomes and food security.  It was born out of an analysis carried out by the Market Linkage Working Group (MLWG), a Zimbabwean multi-stakeholder platform concerned with promoting and improving market linkages within the smallholder farming sector.
